Re-Centring Afro Asia Project - Funding

The Re-Centring Afro Asia Project ( is providing a final round of Honours and Masters scholarships for 2021. The students may only receive a scholarship, if they have been accepted in a Department of Programme in the Faculty of Humanities of a partner institution (exception is in the case of Archaeology if the Department is not located there) and are ready to participate in the project’s activities. Applicants must provide a motivation letter approved by the relevant programme director.

Honours scholarships are up to R 90 000 for the year

Masters scholarships are up to R 100 000. For the year.
